Orders lived in email. Inventory lived in spreadsheets that disagreed by site. Finance posted from a weekly export that was already stale. Cedarline did not need another dashboard. They needed one application the floor would actually open.
HiproSoft mapped receiving, picking, and exceptions with warehouse leads — not a requirements PDF. We shipped a Java service layer, a web UI for the desk, and a tablet-friendly flow for the floor. Integrations to finance and the existing WMS used documented contracts and alerts when a job failed.
Phased by site, not a big-bang weekend. Each wave had a rollback. Training was on the real screens. After launch we stayed for the first two peak weeks so tickets had an owner who had written the code.
One inventory number. Order status visible without chasing an inbox. The ops manager owns the backlog with HiproSoft on support — not a vendor who vanished after the demo.
